Is Retail in Trouble?

************************************************* Profit from the Pros ** Tactics that Work in Good and Bad Markets ** ************************************************* The media is doing its best to scare investors over the supposed decline in holiday shopping this past weekend. However, I tell you emphatically that investors should buy retailers with both fists after Monday’s unnecessary drop. You see, the shape of holiday shopping changes every year. That is because each year there is a dance with consumers deciding whether to go to the stores or just buy online. Or whether to wait a bit longer for deeper discounts. But truly I tell you there is no reason to sweat ANY of these details. All you need to know is that the American consumer will spend whatever money they have come the holidays. This is as much a tradition as football and turkey for Thanksgiving. With unemployment drifting lower and lower, and incomes on the rise…that provides a pretty solid guarantee of a healthy holiday shopping season. As this becomes more evident, the retailers will rise. That is why I am overweight the group with some of the strongest retail plays in BURL, DKS and FL. You may want to consider upping your allocation to the retail group at this time as well. ************************************************* ************************PFP Sponsor Ad****************** Low-Priced Stocks with Sky-High Potential Zacks is now revealing its most compelling stocks that are priced under $10 per share.
